Co-created by Sam Addo of Shaddow Group and Ben Moss of Fleeting Images, the series provides a fresh and positive perspective on relationships, breaking away from stereotypes and misconceptions.
The show also provides a platform for candid discussions and advice from the couples to inspire and uplift the viewers, while celebrating the beauty of Black love in the UK. If you are looking for a wholesome show which shines a light on the Black relationship experience, this is it!
Season 1’s success has paved the way for global recognition, having been licensed for worldwide distribution, making it accessible to audiences in over 40 countries.

“Black Luv UK” Season 2 is a 6-episode series, each lasting 30 minutes, that delves into various aspects of Black couples’ relationships. With a focus on the evergreen theme of love, and inspired by the US show, Black Love, Black Luv UK breaks away from stereotypes and misconceptions that are often placed on Black couples, providing a fresh and positive perspective on love, emphasising positivity, optimism and resilience.
THE TEAM
Sam Addo Shaddow Group
Sam Addo is the founder of mixed media company Shaddow Group and is also known as a Creative Youth Worker. He is grounded in community and grassroots work and a great advocate for diverse & disabled communities.
With over 20 years in the entertainment industry, Mr Addo is known for brands like No Bling TV and Handsplanation, and made his mark as production manager at Channel U.
Alongside his long time creative ally Ben Moss (Fleeting Images), the pair made a feature film in 7 days and 7 nights. That feature film is Cards on the Table and can be found on Amazon now.
Drama, scripted, unscripted and alternative content creation are all areas Sam is excelling in and he really wants to be behind work that inspires and uplifts.
Black Luv UK among other brands with Sam’s involvement are being optioned for licensing deals around the world.

Ben Moss Fleeting Images
Ben Moss brings a rich blend of creativity, professionalism, and over 15 years of experience in both the world of education and the dynamic realm of cinematography, photography, and sound.
He has cultivated an extensive cinematographic and photography portfolio, showcasing creativity, strong work ethic, and professionalism. As a senior educator for over 15 years, he has coordinated various education and training initiatives for children and young adults.
Having experience working for a number of high profile production companies, and high profile clients such as Barclays, Ben’s own production company, Fleeting Images, offers excellent quality media products whilst being agile, professional and having a rich understanding of audience needs.
